Privacy Policy

This policy explains what EarnInMotion collects, why we use it, who may process it, and the choices available to you.

Effective October 2, 2026

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not rent personal information, disclose it for targeted advertising, or use sensitive application information for advertising.

This policy applies to the EarnInMotion website, driver application and status experience, and related fleet, rental, verification, and support services. “EarnInMotion,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to EarnInMotion.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide, information created as we review or serve your application, and limited technical information needed to operate and secure the service. This may include:

  • Contact and identity information, such as your name, email address, mobile number, date of birth, and address.
  • Driver’s license images and extracted license details, including license number, issuing state, class, restrictions, endorsements, issue date, and expiration date.
  • Driving-platform selections, account status, expected weekly mileage, rental preferences, desired start date, and vehicle preference.
  • Insurance information and documents, screening authorizations, verification results, and application status history.
  • If you move forward, reservation, vehicle, contract, signature, assignment, and vehicle handoff information.
  • Communications with us and technical records such as IP address, browser or device information, request identifiers, access history, and security events.

How we use information

We use personal information to create and maintain applications, confirm identity and eligibility, review licenses and insurance, coordinate verification, communicate with applicants and drivers, manage reservations and contracts, assign and support vehicles, respond to requests, prevent fraud, secure our systems, maintain records, and meet legal, insurance, and operational obligations.

We limit collection and use to information reasonably connected to these purposes. We do not use license images, insurance records, or verification information for advertising.

How we disclose information

We disclose information only as reasonably needed to operate the service, complete requested transactions, protect people and systems, or comply with law. Recipients may include:

  • Cloud hosting, encrypted storage, database, monitoring, and email-delivery providers, including Amazon Web Services.
  • OpenAI for front-of-license field extraction.
  • Identity, license, motor-vehicle-record, insurance, platform, electronic-signature, and related verification providers when those services are used.
  • Insurers, claims administrators, professional advisers, auditors, and service providers supporting fleet operations or legal obligations.
  • Government authorities or other parties when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, property, or service integrity.
  • A successor organization in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of business assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not disclose it for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising.

Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected. The appropriate period depends on the application’s status, whether you enter a rental or contract relationship with us, insurance and recordkeeping obligations, verification requirements, fraud and security needs, potential disputes, and applicable law.

When information is no longer required, we take steps to delete, deidentify, or securely dispose of it. Paper and electronic records containing personal information are destroyed, erased, or otherwise made unreadable and unrecoverable as required by applicable law. Some records may remain for a limited period in protected backups or may be retained longer when required for legal claims, investigations, insurance, contracts, or other legitimate obligations. We will not publish fixed retention periods until matching operational deletion controls are in place.

How we protect information

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed for the sensitivity of the information we handle. Current controls include HTTPS encryption in transit, private KMS-encrypted document storage, encrypted storage and backups, application-layer encryption for full license and insurance policy numbers, hashed application-access tokens, restricted network access, monitoring, and access controls.

No service can guarantee absolute security. Please contact us promptly if you believe your application link, account, or personal information has been compromised.

Cookies and browser storage

We use an essential, secure HTTP-only cookie to maintain access to an application. The application also uses temporary, tab-scoped browser session storage to preserve draft progress. Uploaded files are not stored in that browser draft. Draft browser data is cleared when you submit, start a new application, or close the applicable browser session according to your browser’s behavior.

When you follow one of our campaign links, we use a first-party HTTP-only cookie for up to 30 days to remember which campaign referred you. We attach that campaign to your application when it is created to measure application submissions. The referral cookie contains a campaign reference and timestamps, not your application answers. We do not currently use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with your application by emailing privacy@earninmotion.com. You may also withdraw an application or ask questions about how information was used.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We may retain information that is necessary for contracts, insurance, safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or other legitimate obligations. We will explain when a request cannot be completed in full.

Children’s privacy

EarnInMotion’s driver services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the driver application. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information to us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services, providers, and legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required.
